In the winter semester 2022/2023, our branch in Magdeburg is supporting the seminar series “Process Management” at Otto von Guericke University in the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. The aim is to provide students with the knowledge of how processes can be analysed and, if necessary, how suggestions for improvement can be developed.
On Wednesday, 22.10.2022, the kick-off event was held in the lecture hall building on campus. Also present: Approx. 30 students from the Faculty of Computer Science.
Magdeburg’s BU head Matthias Kohse presented our offer process there. The students will analyse it and come up with suggestions for improvement. Matthias will be available to the young computer scientists and their lecturer Hannes Feuersenger in the coming months as a sparring partner when it comes to questions about this process. At the end of the semester, final presentations by the participants are planned, as well as a small closing event.
Why are we doing this?
In the context of continuous improvement, we also put things to the test again and again. The fresh view from outside, and especially the view of young people, can bring forth new ideas and provide us with impulses. Furthermore, we strengthen the awareness of the Sulzer brand with such cooperations and support the recruiting of new specialists in the long term.
