The highest standards for quality and security
Sulzer quality and security standards are firmly anchored in all areas of the company. They define and guide all measures in-house and naturally also all measures implemented in client projects.
Processes and projects are generally complex activities in which specifically agreed results, or targets can be achieved within a defined period of time with planned expenditure. By standardising our procedures and documenting processes, we are able to deliver consistent quality, make comprehensible decisions and deploy optimisation measures to enable us to continuously improve. Ultimately, standardisation also helps to optimise processes as well as improve efficiency and effectiveness.
For many years we have had an integrated and ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system. By systematically aligning ourselves to international standards, we can also adapt at any time to our clients’ quality management systems.
We devote particular attention to the increasing threats to information security. However, by putting in place extensive measures, we can ensure the availability, integrity, confidentiality and authenticity of our clients’ valuable data and information.
In this context, information security is understood as meaning the appropriate protection of applications, data, systems and necessary resources. As an IT service provider, efficiently guaranteeing a high level of security requires the use of a high-performance security management system. Information security per se is not an end in itself, rather must be geared to business targets and objectives. This above all means meeting the client’s security requirements.
The international standard ISO 27001:2013 enables us to provide this guarantee to our clients. Sulzer has therefore based its security management systems on this standard and has also been awarded the appropriate certification. This external certification provides the basis for clients’ justified trust in the high level of security of our services.
INTERNAL MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR CLIENTS
Based on our experiences with our internal management and control systems (e.g. ISAE 3402), we develop and review corresponding systems for our clients, which are precisely tailored to their needs and requirements. Naturally we also incorporate our high quality and security standards in this.
